Key Responsibilities – Junior Buyer Jobs East Rand

Purchasing & Procurement

• Place, track, and manage purchase orders in SYSPRO
• Source suppliers and compare pricing, availability, and delivery times
• Follow up on purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery

Stock & Inventory Support

• Assist with weekly stock reviews and replenishment planning
• Support stock control and accuracy of inventory records
• Assist with inspection of received goods for quality compliance

Supplier Management

• Handle supplier queries and resolve delivery or quality issues
• Support supplier non-conformance reports (NCRs)
• Assist with corrective actions and supplier communication

Administration & Reporting

• Maintain accurate procurement and supplier records
• Support Stores and Procurement teams with admin tasks
• Ensure all documentation is properly recorded and updated

Minimum Requirements – Junior Buyer Jobs Gauteng

• Matric / Grade 12 (Essential)
• 1+ year experience in procurement, buying, or stores role
• Basic understanding of procurement processes
• Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong communication and follow-up skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to learn SYSPRO and procurement systems
