The Construction Education and Training Authority (CETA) is inviting applications for the position of Senior Manager: Qualifications and Accreditation based in Midrand.

This is a senior management contract position responsible for leading qualifications development, accreditation processes, and certification implementation in alignment with CETA’s strategic objectives.

Job Purpose

The Senior Manager: Qualifications and Accreditation will oversee the development and implementation of qualifications frameworks, accreditation systems, assessor and moderator frameworks, and learner certification processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement Qualifications and Accreditation strategy
  • Manage operational plans aligned to CETA’s Annual Performance Plan
  • Oversee end-to-end accreditation application processes
  • Ensure compliance with QCTO standards and guidelines
  • Drive Occupational Standards and Qualifications Framework
  • Oversee Quality Assurance of learner achievements
  • Develop and monitor Quality Management Frameworks
  • Lead stakeholder engagement and partnerships
  • Monitor regulatory changes and implement compliance controls
  • Manage the Unit’s budget and procurement inputs
  • Provide technical advice and support to stakeholders
  • Lead and manage provincial office resources

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7) in:
    • Learning Development
    • Education and Development
    • Or relevant qualification
  • 8–10 years relevant experience
  • 5 years middle management experience
  • Proven leadership and team management experience
  • Advanced MS Office skills
  • Sound financial and budget management knowledge
