The Opportunity
DHL Supply Chain South Africa is recruiting unemployed youth for the Youth Learnership – P&G Jozi Park (x6). This opportunity is ideal for individuals who are eager to learn, gain workplace experience, and grow their skills for future career opportunities in logistics and supply chain.
Job Purpose
To support warehouse operations by completing allocated loading and offloading tasks in line with delivery procedures, instructions from Team Leaders/Managers, and required safety standards. The successful learners will be expected to work responsibly, adapt quickly, and uphold the integrity of DHL at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn and adhere to client and operational requirements
- Carry out loading/offloading and related warehouse tasks as instructed
- Use equipment correctly and report defects immediately
- Report and record any non-conformities relating to customer merchandise
- Work within designated operating areas according to business needs
- Follow standard operating procedures and safe working practices
- Maintain good housekeeping and cleanliness in the work area
- Comply with all Health & Safety standards, rules, and instructions
- Contribute to a productive and respectful working environment
- Participate in stock counts where required
- Complete tasks accurately and on time

Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric
- South African citizen
- Unemployed youth aged 18–29 years
- BBB-EE candidate
- English (verbal and written)
Advantageous (Not Mandatory)
- Valid driver’s licence (minimum Code 08)
- Valid Forklift / Reach Truck licence
