As a Merchandiser, you will help create a visually appealing shopping environment while ensuring shelves are stocked and products are well presented.
Job Overview
Your role will include:
- Ensuring shelves are fully stocked with the correct products
- Creating visually appealing product displays
- Pricing and labeling products accurately
- Supporting sales through effective merchandising
This role is ideal if you enjoy working in a fast-paced retail environment and want hands-on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Stock Management: Count, track, unpack, and organize stock
- Visual Merchandising: Design displays and improve store layout
- Product Maintenance: Remove damaged or expired products
- Customer Service: Assist customers and handle queries
- Store Maintenance: Keep store areas clean and organized
- Team Collaboration: Work with sales and marketing teams
Minimum Requirements
To qualify, you must have:
- Matric Certificate (National Senior Certificate)
- Basic understanding of English
- Valid South African ID
- SARS Letter
- Bank Confirmation Letter
- A smartphone
- A Vodacom SIM card (required if successful)
- Clear criminal record
- Must live within 15km of Schoemansville
Preferred Candidates
- South African citizens
- Aged between 18 – 35
- No prior experience required (Learnership level)
