DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Protection & Safety

• Protect employees, visitors, vehicles, buildings, and equipment
• Maintain a safe and secure environment

Access Control

• Monitor entrances and exits
• Control visitor access and traffic movement

Patrols & Surveillance

• Conduct regular patrols
• Monitor CCTV cameras, alarms, and surveillance systems

Incident Response

• Respond to emergencies and security breaches
• Write detailed incident and occurrence reports

Policy Enforcement

• Enforce company rules and security procedures
• Support fire prevention and emergency evacuations

Equipment Checks

• Ensure security equipment is functional
• Report faults immediately

Customer Service

• Maintain professional conduct at all times
• Assist clients, staff, and visitors professionally

REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must have:

• Valid PSIRA Certificate (Minimum Grade C)
• Matric Certificate
• Previous security experience
• Knowledge of CCTV, alarms, and access control systems
• Good communication and report writing skills
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
• Physical fitness for patrol duties

Advantageous:

• Driver’s License
• Firearm Competency for business purposes
