About the Position
SAVF SACF Cosmos in Vandykpark, Boksburg is seeking a disciplined and dedicated Female Security Guard to help ensure a safe, calm and secure environment for residents, staff and visitors in our elderly care facility.
- Location: Vandykpark, Boksburg, Gauteng
- Position: Security Guard – Elderly Care (Female)
- Shifts: 12‑hour shifts
- Start date: 1 January 2026
- Closing date for applications: 24 December 2025
- Salary: According to SAVF salary scales
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 10 (Grade 12 will be an advantage)
- Valid SAPS clearance
- Relevant security qualification
- Proven experience in security services
- Good communication skills in Afrikaans and English
- Ability to work well within a team
- Disciplined, reliable and dedicated
Key duties and responsibilities
- Perform duties according to the prescribed duty roster
- Execute instructions and procedures as assigned
- Report all relevant security matters to the Facility Manager
- Ensure the safety and security of residents, staff and visitors
- Maintain a calm, respectful and professional presence within the facility
