About the Role
- Implement and monitor bin management processes in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Coordinate the distribution and rollout of bins across the municipality
- Maintain accurate records of bin issuance, returns, and related costs
- Compile and update statistical reports on services rendered and operational performance
- Support financial administration within the division, including invoicing and budget tracking
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, municipal policies, and supply chain regulations
- Liaise with internal departments, service providers, and residents to ensure effective service delivery
- Identify and report on operational gaps or needs within the bin management system
- Promote the use of council bins to support municipal revenue targets
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric Certificate
- National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Business Administration, Public Administration, Office Management, or a related field
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in administration, logistics, asset management, or municipal services
- Computer literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Knowledge of municipal financial systems and processes will be an advantage
- A valid driver’s license is preferred
