Itani Technology Investments & Gauteng Department of Economic Development Launch Software Development Enterprise Programme

Itani Technology Investments, in partnership with the Gauteng Department of Economic Development (GDED), is proud to launch an innovative enterprise development programme in Software Development. This initiative combines new venture creation with accredited technical training, equipping unemployed Gauteng youth with the skills to establish, manage, and grow sustainable ICT enterprises.

Programme Overview:

  • Focus: Software Development & ICT Entrepreneurship
  • Format: Accredited training + venture creation support
  • Duration: 8 months
  • Target: Unemployed youth in Gauteng
  • Goal: Foster sustainable ICT startups

Minimum Requirements:

  • South African citizen residing in Gauteng
  • Between 18–34 years old
  • Unemployed and not enrolled in any education/training programme
  • Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent (post-matric qualification advantageous)
  • Demonstrated interest in ICT entrepreneurship
  • Full commitment to the 8-month programme, including attendance

Application Requirements:

Applicants must submit:

  • Updated Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  • Certified copy of SA ID and qualifications (not older than 3 months)
  • Proof of residential address (not older than 3 months)
  • Cover letter outlining your ICT business idea or interest
