Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Diploma/Degree in Security Management
• Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in security
• Knowledge of security legislation (MISS, OHSA, PFMA)
• Computer skills (MS Office)
• Valid driver’s licence

Required Knowledge:

• Public Finance Management Act (PFMA)
• Treasury Regulations
• Minimum Physical Security Standards (HPSS)
• Minimum Information Security Standards (MISS)
• Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA)
• Labour Relations Act
• Performance Management Development System (PMDS)

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage in-house and outsourced security services
• Implement departmental security policies and MISS Act
• Liaise with SAPS and DOH security management
• Investigate and report security breaches
• Manage access control systems
• Develop and monitor security SOPs
• Assess performance of security personnel
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation
