Eligible Qualifications
Applicants must hold one of the following qualifications:
- Three-year Diploma
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Higher Certificate
- Occupational Qualification (NQF Level 5)
MICT SETA Sub-Sectors
Your qualification must align with one of the following fields:
- Information Technology
- Advertising
- Electronics
- Film and Electronic Media
- Telecommunications
- Marketing Management
- Music Performance
- Music Composition and Studio Work
Minimum Requirements
To qualify for the AB4IR MICT SETA Internship Programme 2026, applicants must:
- Be a South African citizen.
- Be unemployed.
- Hold a relevant qualification.
- Have a qualification aligned to a MICT SETA sub-sector.
- Not currently participate in any SETA-funded internship or learnership.
Please Note: TVET N6 students requiring Work Integrated Learning (WIL) are not eligible for this internship programme and should instead apply for the MICT SETA TVET Placement Programme.
