Ekurhuleni West TVET College invites suitable candidates to apply for the permanent position of Data Capturer at Kempton Campus.

Minimum Requirements / Requirements

  • Matric / Grade 12;
  • National Diploma in Management Assistant or equivalent;
  • 0–1 years’ appropriate experience;
  • Knowledge of data capturing;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office and Outlook;
  • Understanding of application and interpretation of office management;
  • Knowledge of ITS.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Capturing of marks;
  • Capturing timetables;
  • Capturing attendance registers;
  • Printing of registers;
  • Capturing and updating data accurately;
  • Customer service and attending to general enquiries;
  • Answering telephone calls;
  • Assisting with registration;
  • Knowledge of finance;
  • Report writing;
  • Working with ITS as required.

  • Original certified copy of Matric Certificate;
  • Original certified copies of all qualifications (evaluated by DHET & SAQA if foreign);
  • Original certified copy of Identity Document (front and back if ID card);
  • Original certified copy of driver’s licence (front and back);
  • Original certified copy of academic record/transcript.

Vetting: Shortlisted candidates will undergo vetting (citizenship, criminal checks, qualification verification, social media and credit checks).
