Job Description
SafetySA is looking for an experienced Driver Trainer contractor to deliver driver, lifting and learnership training aligned with SafetyCloud SHE standards and all SAQA, SETA and NOSA requirements. This is an ongoing part time contract role.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years proven experience as a Driver Trainer
- 3 years additional industry experience
- Valid TETA Facilitator and Assessor scope
- Valid Code 14 Drivers License with PRDP
- Own reliable vehicle
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Office
- Matric is advantageous but not mandatory
Key Responsibilities:
Training Delivery
- Plan, prepare and deliver all training sessions in line with approved curricula
- Ensure all training equipment is operational and ready prior to every session
- Adapt training delivery for different learner skill levels, language and cultural barriers
Assessment and Moderation
- Conduct all learner assessments and moderation in full compliance with SETA and NOSA codes of conduct
- Provide constructive confidential feedback to all learners
- Complete all Portfolios of Evidence accurately and securely
Administration and Compliance
- Maintain all up to date student records, reports and training documentation
- Ensure full compliance with NOSA Quality Management Systems
- Submit all required progress and completion reports on time
Stakeholder Engagement
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and all internal stakeholders
- Resolve all client queries professionally and efficiently
- Attend all required meetings and adhere to all project deadlines
Professional Development
- Maintain all valid assessor and moderator registrations
- Keep up to date with all changes to SAQA, SETA and NOSA requirements
