Role Overview

The Enterprise Technology and Security Manager will provide strategic leadership in ICT infrastructure, digital services, enterprise architecture and cybersecurity. The role is responsible for technology strategy, cloud and network resilience, governance, cyber risk management, and ensuring secure, scalable and high-performance ICT environments aligned to business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Technology Operations

• Lead enterprise ICT infrastructure (networks, servers, data centres, cloud and security)
• Ensure high availability, performance and disaster recovery readiness
• Drive ICT standardisation, automation and optimisation
• Manage ICT budgets, lifecycle planning and technology roadmaps
• Implement Azure cloud strategy and enterprise architecture
• Oversee communication systems and operational support processes

Information & Cybersecurity

• Develop and implement enterprise-wide information security strategy
• Lead cyber risk management, audits, vulnerability management and incident response
• Ensure compliance with POPIA, ISO 27001, NIST and other frameworks
• Maintain ICT risk registers and business continuity plans

Strategic Leadership & Governance

• Advise executive management on technology and security risks
• Manage ICT governance, vendor relationships and SLA performance
• Contribute to ICT strategy, board reporting and compliance structures

People & Vendor Management

• Lead and develop technical teams and contractors
• Manage service providers and technology partners
• Build a culture of accountability, performance and cyber awareness

Minimum Requirements

• Qualifications & Certifications
• Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 7) in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems or related
• Professional certifications in infrastructure, security or architecture
• Preferred: CISSP, CISM, CRISC, Azure / AWS / Google Cloud

At least two of:

• Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-104)
• MCSA Windows Server
• Cisco CCNA or higher

Experience

• 7–10 years ICT experience
• Minimum 5 years in senior infrastructure, security or technology management
• Experience in cloud, enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, governance and DR planning
• Strong knowledge of NIST, ISACA, ISO standards, POPIA, COBIT, ITIL
• Experience with Dell servers, firewalls, backups, patching and hybrid environments
• Valid driver’s licence
