The Gauteng Department of e-Government in partnership with Netcampus Group is inviting unemployed youth in Gauteng to apply for a FREE Data Analysis Skills Training Programme.
This initiative aims to equip young South Africans with in-demand digital and data analytics skills that are essential in todayβs digital economy.
Participants will gain practical knowledge in data collection, data visualization, and interpreting data for decision-making, helping them prepare for careers in the growing field of data analytics.
Skills You Will Learn
Participants will gain valuable skills including:
β’ Data Collection and Data Cleaning
β’ Data Visualization using Power BI
β’ Interpreting Data for Business Decision Making
Data analytics skills are increasingly important across industries as organizations rely on data to make strategic decisions.
Training Programme Structure
Phase 1: Online Training
Participants will first complete 100% online training covering foundational data analysis concepts.
Kick-off Date: 13 March 2026

β’ Laptop, tablet, or smartphone
Phase 2: Classroom Training (Top 50 Participants)
The top 50 participants from Phase 1 will progress to in-person classroom training at:
β’ Netcampus Fourways
β’ Netcampus Centurion
During this stage, participants will receive advanced training and preparation for the Microsoft Data Analyst certification exam.
Transportation details will be provided for selected participants.
Who Can Apply?
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
β’ South African citizen
β’ Aged 18 β 34 years
β’ Residing in Gauteng
β’ Completed Grade 12
No prior IT or data experience is required.
Phase 2: Classroom Training (Top 50 Participants)
The top 50 participants from Phase 1 will progress to in-person classroom training at:
