Siyanqoba Ngamandla Holdings is currently recruiting General Cleaners (15 positions available) for operations based in Khuthala within the production environment.

This role plays a critical part in ensuring safe, efficient, and clean conveyor and production systems. Successful candidates will support operational productivity by maintaining cleanliness, reducing spillage, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Purpose of the Role

The main purpose of this role is to improve operational efficiency by ensuring that conveyor belts and working areas remain clean, safe, and free from debris, dust, and material build-up. This helps prevent equipment damage, fires, and workplace hazards.

Key Responsibilities

As a General Cleaner, your duties will include:

  • Cleaning and maintaining underground conveyor belts to prevent debris buildup
  • Managing dust levels to reduce health and safety risks
  • Preventing and cleaning material spillage on production belts
  • Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety regulations
  • Performing general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal
  • Reporting equipment defects, damage, or operational issues immediately
  • Supporting productivity by reducing downtime through effective cleaning practices

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Grade 12 (Matric) or a relevant technical certificate
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar cleaning or industrial environment
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Valid driver’s licence
  • Proof of residence
