Who Can Apply?
Applicants must:
- Be unemployed and not currently studying or enrolled in any learnership programme
- Not hold any post-matric qualification
- Have a Matric (Grade 12) certificate with Mathematics/Math Literacy and Life Sciences (minimum Level 3 in all subjects)
- Be a South African citizen with a valid ID
- Be aged 18–35 years
- Submit the following documents:

- Proof of residence

Key Duties
As part of the programme, you will:
- Assist in the operation and maintenance of horticultural sites and plant production areas
- Monitor plant growth and health
- Conduct soil preparation and planting activities
- Maintain tools, equipment, and irrigation systems
- Participate in plant propagation, watering, and fertilizing
- Attend classes and workshops as part of the programme
- Complete assignments, projects, and practical assessments
- Maintain a practical logbook to evaluate knowledge and understanding
