About the Role
MPC Connect Johannesburg is recruiting Online English Tutors for its office-based centre in Midrand. This is an excellent opportunity for degree holders who want to use their qualification, gain international teaching experience and support students from around the world to improve their English.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct one‑on‑one and group English lessons via online video platforms
- Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials tailored to learner needs
- Teach and support students in speaking, listening, reading and writing
- Provide constructive feedback and track student performance
- Maintain a positive, engaging and supportive virtual classroom environment
Requirements
- Degree (any field) preferred
- Native‑level proficiency in English
- Entry level – no prior teaching experience required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Confident using technology and online platforms (e.g. Zoom, Google Meet)
- Patience, enthusiasm, dedication and a genuine passion for teaching foreign students
