Ekurhuleni West TVET College (EWC) invites suitably qualified N6 Financial Management graduates to apply for an internship opportunity in DoE bursary administration at the Boksburg Campus. The successful candidate will assist with the administration of bursaries and financial aid processes.
Minimum Requirements
- N6 in Financial Management
- Must be an unemployed N6 graduate
- Must not have previously completed the 18 months internship (work-based experience) required for the National Diploma

Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Hand out Department of Education (DoE) bursary forms and Schedules of Particulars (SoP) to applicants
- Explain to applicants which supporting documents are required for their bursary application
- Explain how to complete the application forms and SoP correctly
- Inform students about the due dates for submission of completed forms and SoP
- Check, using the checklist (SSS FOR 008), that applicants have completed all required fields
- Submit eligible applications (with all required documents) to SSS – Corporate Centre (CC) and keep a name list for record purposes
- Follow up on returns and feedback from SSS-CC or NSFAS
- Process accommodation and transport claims for students who have been awarded DoE bursaries and submit to SSS-CC, keeping accurate records
- Make copies of required documentation related to DoE bursary administration at the campus
