About Clicks Foundation
The Clicks Foundation bursary programme supports South Africa’s National Development Plan and the Group’s commitment to sustainable development and transformation. The bursary rewards academic excellence and assists undergraduate students, without any work-back obligation to Clicks.
Fields of Study
Available to students registered in 2026 for 2nd or 3rd year of:
- BCom in Computer Science
- BCom in Information Technology (any speciality)
Studies must be undertaken at a recognised university in the Western Cape.
What the Bursary Covers
A Clicks Foundation bursary contributes towards the following costs for the current academic year of registration:
- Registration fees
- Tuition fees
- Prescribed textbooks
- Study assistance and academic support where required
The bursary does not cover historic debt, previous study loans or tuition fees from prior years.
Selection & Transformation
Applications are screened against Clicks Foundation selection criteria, taking into account the national and provincial economically active population.
Preference is given to:
- Persons with disabilities
- Applicants from designated groups
Bursaries are awarded at the sole discretion of the Clicks Foundation.
Minimum Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be confirmed South African citizens
- Be aged 19–35 years
- Have obtained a minimum overall average of 60%
- Be registered (or intending to register) for 2nd or 3rd year studies in 2026 in one of the approved qualifications
- Be studying at a university in the Western Cape
- Not hold another bursary or be subject to a bursary obligation
