Job Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Personal Assistant to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in Midrand to provide high-level administrative, coordination, and executive support.
This role is ideal for a professional with strong experience supporting C-suite executives, managing complex schedules, handling confidential information, and coordinating executive-level operations.
Key Responsibilities
Executive & Administrative Support
- Manage the CFO’s calendar, meetings, and key deliverables
- Draft and edit executive correspondence and reports
- Prepare meeting packs, presentations, and documentation
- Act as the primary liaison between the CFO and stakeholders
Diary & Meeting Management
- Coordinate meetings, agendas, and logistics
- Book venues, arrange catering, and manage invitations
- Provide secretariat support and record meeting minutes
- Track action items and ensure follow-ups
Travel & Logistics
- Arrange local and international travel
- Prepare travel itineraries and bookings
- Process travel claims and approvals
Office & Operational Management
- Maintain document management systems
- Ensure office supplies and resources are available
- Support procurement processes via systems like SAP
- Manage filing systems and documentation flow
Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as the first point of contact for the CFO’s office
- Communicate with high-level stakeholders (CEOs, Ministers, partners)
- Manage confidential communication professionally
- Coordinate partnerships and stakeholder engagements
Minimum Requirements
- Executive Secretarial Diploma or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 6 years’ experience as a Personal Assistant
- At least 5 years supporting C-suite executives
- Strong experience in:
- Calendar and diary management
- Executive communication
- Board and Exco support
- Advanced proficiency in:
- Microsoft Excel (data analysis, reporting)
- PowerPoint (executive presentations)
- Word (professional documentation)
Desirable Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (Office Administration / Business / Project Management)
- Experience in banking or financial services sector
- Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP) and document management tools
- Experience supporting board and executive committees
