Key Responsibilities

Moderation & Verification

  • Manage and coordinate the moderation process with the Operations Department
  • Audit assessments, logs and reconciliation templates for accuracy and compliance
  • Verify supporting documentation and review progress and closure reports
  • Ensure moderator scope documents are current and compliant
  • Conduct SETA verification processes
  • Ensure compliance with DHET, SAQA and SETA accreditation requirements
  • Adhere to institutional policies, quality standards and regulatory frameworks
  • Complete all tasks within stipulated deadlines

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as the primary contact for escalated audit and compliance queries
  • Liaise with clients and relevant accreditation authorities
  • Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders and departments

Minimum Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Administration, Education or related field (Bachelor’s Degree preferred)
  • Proven experience in auditing, moderation, verification or quality assurance
  • Knowledge of Higher Education regulatory frameworks (DHET, SAQA, SETA)
  • Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills
