About the Role
Restonic is hiring a skilled HR Generalist to manage the full employee lifecycle in a highly unionised environment. You will lead industrial relations, HR compliance, employee engagement, payroll, and recruitment initiatives while ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to South African labour laws.

Key Responsibilities
Industrial Relations & Employee Relations
- Manage disciplinary cases, grievances, and CCMA/FBC conciliations.
- Build strong relationships with union officials and shop stewards.
- Monitor union stats and ensure compliance with collective agreements.
Recruitment & Employee Lifecycle
- End-to-end recruitment, onboarding, probation, and performance interventions.
- Support succession planning and employee development initiatives.
Employment Equity & B-BBEE
- Facilitate EE planning, compliance audits, and B-BBEE reporting.
Payroll & Time & Attendance
- Coordinate payroll, leave, overtime, and special cases accurately and on time.
HR Administration & Projects
- Draft and implement HR and IR policies.
- Maintain employee records, support HR audits, and manage recognition events.
Requirements
- National Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Labour Relations, or related field.
- 5–8 years of HR experience in corporate and production environments.
- CCMA and industrial relations experience in unionised settings.
- Strong knowledge of SA Labour Legislation, BCEA, LRA, EEA, Skills Development Act.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, HRIS, Sage 300, RemChannel, Neptune.
- Leadership, communication, problem-solving, and confidentiality skills.
