Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Learning and Development Coordinator to join our team in Randburg. This role plays a critical part in supporting the daily operations of Learning & Development (L&D), ensuring efficient training coordination, administration, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and administer all training and development programmes (internal & external)
  • Manage training records and updates on the Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Handle bursary administration, tracking, and reporting
  • Coordinate training logistics:
    • Travel arrangements
    • Venue bookings
    • Training schedules
    • Communication with stakeholders
  • Process payroll-related training documentation
  • Order training materials (stationery, uniforms, etc.)
  • Manage payments to training providers and maintain financial records
  • Support Skills Development Facilitator (SDF) with:
    • Monthly reports
    • Workplace Skills Plan (WSP)
    • Annual Training Reports (ATR)
    • BBBEE compliance
  • Coordinate employee induction programmes
  • Oversee training certifications and learning initiatives
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation on LMS
  • Assist with learnerships and social development programmes
  • Attend meetings, take minutes, and manage documentation

Minimum Requirements

  • Diploma in Human Resources Management or equivalent
  • 2–3 years’ experience in HR or Learning & Development administration
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines
  • Good communication (written & verbal)
  • Understanding of budgeting and financial processes
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
