Available Mining Positions
SMT Mining Group is recruiting for the following roles:
- Electrician (x1)
- Fitter (x4)
- Rigger (x3)
- Boilermaker (x2)
- Winder Electrician (x1)
- Incline Shaft Bell Operator (x14)
- IOC Driver (x8)
Key Responsibilities
Successful candidates will:
- Perform duties according to mining job specifications
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Conduct maintenance, inspections, and repairs
- Report faults and operational issues immediately
- Work effectively in a team environment
- Follow mining operational procedures and standards
- Maintain productivity and safety compliance
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following:
- Relevant Trade Certificate or Competency Certificate (where applicable)
- Previous mining or industrial experience (advantageous)
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work shifts and under pressure
- Medically fit for mining duties
