Who can apply
- You must be a South African citizen.
- You must have passed Matric with at least 75% average, and 75% or more in Pure Maths, Physical Science and English.
- You must come from a disadvantaged background.
- You should be starting your first year in 2026 and have applied at a mainstream (non‑private) university or TVET college in South Africa.
- Your field of study must be STEM‑related (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics).
What to submit
- A certified copy of your ID.
- Your latest Grade 12 results and your matric certificate once confirmed.
- An acceptance letter from a recognised mainstream university in South Africa (not private).
- A motivation letter.
