We are looking for SOC Analyst Level 1
The SOC Analyst is a key member of the Security Operations Center, responsible for actively
monitoring, investigating, and responding to security threats across various platforms. The
role requires practical experience with SIEM tools, threat detection technologies, and strong
analytical skills.
Level 1 Analysts serve as the first line of defense, handling the initial triage of security alerts
and performing basic incident management. Complex incidents are escalated to Level 2 for
further investigation.
Please note – that this SOC Analyst Level 1 position is offered as a 12-month internship.
REQUIREMENTS :
- L1-Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, Service Management, or a related field.
- 0-1 year of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or networking
- Entry-level security certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CySA+, FCP 7.4)
- Vendor-specific certifications (Fortinet NSE) advantageous
KEY RESPONSIBILTY :
- Monitor real-time security alerts and events
- Perform initial triage of security incidents
- Correlate security events across multiple sources
- Act as the first line of defense in the Security Operations Center
- Follow playbooks for incident response
- Maintain monitoring coverage during assigned
- Monitor anomaly detection alerts
- Validate and analyze potential threats
- Review device behavior and traffic anomalies
