Location : Gauteng (Pretoria) Head Office


Salary : R325 101 per annum (Level 7)

Position : Demand And Acquisition Management

Minimum Qualifications:

  • National Diploma in Financial Management, Logistics, Purchasing Management, Supply Chain Management, or Public Administration (NQF Level 6).

Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in Supply Chain Management (SCM), specifically:
    • Demand Management
    • Acquisition Management

Job Knowledge:

  • Public sector procurement processes
  • SCM Policy Framework / Guide to Accounting Officers
  • Public Financial Management Act (PFMA)
  • Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act (PPPFA)
  • CIDB prescripts
  • Treasury Regulations
  • Other relevant SCM prescripts

Duties:

1. Demand Management & Planning Support

  • Provide administrative support for planning and operations.
  • Collate, verify, and consolidate Demand Management Plans into an Integrated Departmental Demand Plan.
  • Draw BAS reports to verify budgets and expenditure for each office.

2. Demand & Acquisition Clerical Services

  • Update and maintain the supplier database.
  • Capture and register suppliers on the system.
  • Request and receive quotations.
  • Capture specifications on the electronic purchasing system.
  • Ensure all purchase orders are placed on time.
  • Issue and receive bid documents.
  • Provide secretarial and logistical support for bid committees.

3. Requisition Administration & Market Analysis

  • Check, analyse, and submit requests to quotation units daily.
  • Conduct market analysis on requisitions.
  • Compile integrated monthly requisition spreadsheets.

4. Document Control & Administrative Support

File Terms of Reference (TOR) electronically and manually.

File all documents, including deviation memos and other relevant documentation.
