The City of Johannesburg invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position of Personal Assistant in the Office of the Member of the Mayoral Committee (MMC).

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric / Grade 12
  • Secretarial / Administration Diploma or related NQF Level 6 qualification
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience at Senior Secretarial level within government
  • Proven experience in administration and document management
  • Computer literacy in MS Office and Internet
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level administrative support to the MMC
  • Manage correspondence, documents, and filing systems
  • Coordinate meetings, take minutes, and track implementation of decisions
  • Manage the MMC’s diary and logistics
  • Liaise with internal departments, councillors, and stakeholders
  • Provide office support for events and ad-hoc functions
